ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Joy Friedman and I'm the creator of Top of the World Knits.  I've been knitting since I was 12-years-old.  But even though at this point I have plenty of knitting experience, with two kids and a full-time job, I don't have time to work on complex designs.

Top of the World Knits patterns are for people like me. The emphasis is on simplicity and the projects are modern and straightforward. You can knit a few rows/rounds, put down the project, and pick up again where you left off whenever you're ready.

My goal is to create patterns for knitters who want to be challenged and keep learning new things, but whose schedules or interest levels may not always allow for deep dives into complex patterns and techniques.
