Why I'm Sharing This Book
I remember my aunt giving me a copy of this book years ago, long before I ever imagined becoming a knitwear designer. When I later found another copy, I bought it mostly for nostalgic reasons, but also to revisit Debbie Abrahams' approach to knitwear design. It's a wonderful reference that covers much more than sweaters, including hats, socks, and mittens. I'm ready to pass it along to someone beginning their own design journey, or to anyone who's curious about how knitwear is made.
Favorite Feature
The step-by-step approach to knitwear design, along with practical guidance for designing garments, hats, socks, and mittens.
Best For
Knitters who are curious about designing their own patterns or want to understand how knitwear is constructed before creating their own designs.
