Why I'm Sharing This Book

I've taken several online classes with Melissa Leapman over the years and have always admired her work as a designer and teacher. I enjoyed flipping through this book and learning more about garment shaping, but I know it would get far more use in the hands of someone who wants to dive deeper into sweater construction.

Favorite Feature

I enjoyed seeing how different shaping techniques affect the fit and look of a garment. It's an interesting reference that gives you a better appreciation for the design decisions behind a well-fitting sweater.

Best For

Knitters who are curious about garment construction, want to better understand shaping techniques, or are interested in what goes into creating a well-fitting sweater.
