Shawl Design in Plain English: Basic Shawl Shapes: How to design your own knitted shawls including pattern templates for square, rectangle and triangle shawls

Every book on my bookshelf has taught, inspired, or encouraged me in some way. I'm delighted to share it with another knitter and hope it becomes a valued part of your knitting journey, too.

Why I'm Sharing This Book

I purchased this book because I was curious about shawl construction and wanted to better understand how different shawl shapes are created. I enjoyed looking through it, but never wound up using it for a design. I hope it finds its way to someone who is ready to explore shawl design more seriously.

Favorite Feature

I liked that the book breaks shawl construction down into basic shapes and explains the design process in a straightforward way.

Best For

Knitters who are interested in moving beyond following shawl patterns and in beginning to understand how to create or adapt their own designs.
