Second Glance explores how the same slip-stitch pattern can look surprisingly different simply by changing the number of colors and where those colors are placed.

The pattern includes two versions. Version 1 uses three colors, while Version 2 uses two. Because only one color is worked at a time, you can create an intricate-looking colorwork fabric without managing multiple strands across the same row. The two versions are a fun way to experiment with color placement and see just how much it can change the finished fabric.

Second Glance is also a great project for using smaller amounts of worsted-weight yarn from your stash. Both headbands are worked flat from the bottom up and finished with a mattress stitch seam. Choose your colors, try one version or both, and discover how the same stitch pattern can take on an entirely different look.

The pattern includes four sizes: Child, Teen, Adult Small, and Adult Large.

Second Glance Headbands has been professionally tech edited to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
